　　　　　When Japan participated in antarctic exploration for the first time in 1957 (Showa 32), after the "dogsled party" by a Sakhalin husky (Karafuto-dog) will be dispatched to the cargo shipment in a polar zone from Wakkanai and 22 animals, such as brotherly"taro and Jiro", received training in the Wakkanai park, We migrated to the South Pole by the antarctic research ship "Soya."
