　"Stranely shaped rocks and alpine plant "tell ! ,Mt.Apoi-dake Geopark

■Samani-cho

　　　Samani-cho located in the southernmost end of Hidaka in Hokkaido, and Hidaka side of the Hidaka mountain range which divides Tokachi.

■Charm

　　　Although the area of the Mt. Apoi-dake Geopark is whole Samani-cho, probably, the maximum attraction is "Mt. Apoi-dake" after all.

Mt. Apoi-dake is the altitude of 810 m. 　　　It is "a fire festival of Apoi" performed noting that Event in which most many people participate in Samani-cho is connected with "the legend of having built the bonfire at the top in Mt. Apoi-dake." we
will be held on the first Saturdays and Sundays in August every year.

　　　While the ceremonial kindling of a flame is held at the foot in Mt. Apoi and "GOJINKA"divine fire　burns vigorously for two days of event, various event is performed, many peoples gather and We heap up a Fest.
